more good news!

Yay, more good news! We are slowly getting set straight from the lightning strike. I'm at home now, using a computer that isn't ours, but who cares? I'm AT HOME! Our friend Harmony was kind enough to lend us her machine (which she never uses). I also managed to get a new router last night -- right now 3 of the 4 computers in the house are connected to it. My Mac in the bedroom is still not hooked to the net, though it seems to work fine otherwise. Either the lightning strike fried the cable, or the cat chewed through it at Just the Right Moment.

So.

I'm still going to be going to TWC, and such. And I'm not going to be playing City of Heroes ... because this machine doesn't have the requisite video card to run the game.

Right now Ariann is watching the Disney Channel, which she hasn't done in a while. Her TV works fine to play videos, but doesn't get cable any more -- which suits us just fine, as she was watching too much TV anyway. This is a good way of controlling it.

In other news, I let Ariann paint my nails this morning ... they're glittery ;)

Oh, and note to self: Beyond Belief shorts, on SciFi, make great short story ideas.
